Detailed Itinerary of the tour


  • Day 1

    On arrival in Auckland,you will be transferred to the hotel.After breakfast explore inner city beaches and beautiful North Shore bays. Climb the Sky Tower, visit Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium or the Auckland Zoo.

     


  • Day 2

    After breakfast proceed to Waikato.Enjoy a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glow worm Caves including an underground boat ride viewing the millions of glow worms on the cavern roof.


  • Day 3

    Visit the City of Rotorua.The city is great for those who want to see the fantastic thermal areas of New Zealand.  It is only about 2 hours from Auckland.Visit Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Wonderland.This stunning geothermal park is just amazing with its diversity in colour with hot pools ranging in colour from Turquoise blue, rich greens and gold.Then visit Rainbow Springs, where kiwis play.Also take a boat ride to experience a nine minute journey.


  • Day 4

    Travel to Coromandal.”Hot Water Beach is a ‘Must Do’ activity when visiting The Coromandel. An underground river of hot water flows from the interior of the earth to surface in the Pacific Ocean at Hot Water Beach.Famous Cathedral Cove is one of the must visit sites and it is accessible only on foot, boat or kayak.Many Kiwis will be familiar with the spectacular coastal walk into Cathedral Cove.

     


  • Day 5

    Continue to Tongariro National Park, a landscape of contrasts with lava, mountain peaks, active craters and pools of all colours. This park is a real gem for biking, rock climbing, snow sports, and the Tongariro Alpine crossing, recognized as one of the 10 most beautiful walks in the world.


  • Day 6

    Visit Northland.It offers boat cruises / coach tours to see Dolphins, the Hole in the Rock, Cape Reinga and the famous Ninety Mile Beach.


  • Day 7

    Head south to Wellington.Visit Te Papa,the national museum of New Zealand.It tells the stories of New Zealand’s unique geological, biological, cultural and social history in new and exciting ways.Enjoy 360-degree views from the top of Mount Victoria.Lookout, the Cable Car Museum.Also encounter Wellington zoo.The ‘best little zoo in the world.

     


  • Day 8

    Catch the ferry to the South Island. Drive to the Abel Tasman National Park, considered one of the most beautiful parks in New Zealand.Explore the park on foot and relax on the beach.


  • Day 9

    Proceed to West Coast.Along this coast Punakaiki attracts travellers for its natural sculptures, the famous “Pancake Rocks” formed by the erosion from the sea, rain and rivers.

     


  • Day 10

    Continue along the West Coast,reach New Zealand’s famous glaciers: Fox and Franz Josef. These are virtually on the sea front and less than 300 metre above sea level, they are the highlights of the region.Walk onto the Fox glacier.Travel to Queenstown.


  • Day 11

    Queenstown is recognised as New Zealand’s adventure capital for extreme sports.It is a natural playground.Have fun time in Queenstown. Jet boat rides,Skydiving,Boat cruise etc.


  • Day 12

    A two-hour drive from Queenstown, visit Fiordland National Park.Pass through the man-made Homer Tunnel before catching your catamaran for your cruise on Milford Sound.Enjoy a one and a half hour cruise of Milford Sound viewing the spectacular waterfalls and Mitre Peak.

     


  • Day 13

    Head towards Christchurch.It is known internationally as the “Garden City” because of its spectacular gardens.Visit the Botanical Garden in Christchurch.


  • Day 14

    Prepare for your departure.
